Who we are

East Main Parking (“we” or “us”) operates the parking lot at East Main Street. This website lets you register your vehicle and pay for parking there.

What you’re buying

When you pay, or register for free, you get permission to park one vehicle, identified by its license plate, in our lot for the length of time you choose.

• It is not a reservation for a particular space and does not guarantee that a space is available. Parking is first come, first served.
• It is not a storage, valet or security service. We don’t take possession of your vehicle or keys.

When your parking starts and ends

• Your parking time starts when your payment goes through, or when you complete a free registration. You can’t buy time that starts later.
• It ends after the length of time you chose. Your confirmation page shows the exact start and end times.
• All times are Pacific Time.
• Need more time? Register and pay again before your time runs out. Time can’t be paused, transferred or carried over.

Rates

• Current rates are shown on the payment page and posted at the lot. You always see the total before you pay.
• Each hour, or part of an hour, is charged at the hourly rate, up to the daily maximum for each 24-hour period. For example, if the rate were $5.00 per hour with a $20.00 maximum per 24 hours, 2 hours would cost $10.00 and 3 days would cost $60.00.
• We may change rates at any time. Changes don’t affect time you’ve already paid for. If the price changes while you’re paying, we show you the new total before charging anything.
• Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable taxes.

Your license plate

You’re responsible for entering your plate correctly. A registration covers only the plate entered and can’t be moved to another vehicle. If you made a mistake, contact us right away. We can usually register the correct plate for your remaining time.

Promo codes

• We and our partners (such as hotels, restaurants and event organizers) may give out promo codes. A code can make the first few hours, or your whole stay, free. Any time beyond what the code covers is charged at the normal rate.
• Codes may have start and end dates and a limited number of uses, and we can turn a code off at any time. Only one code can be used per registration. Codes have no cash value.
• If a code is misused or obtained improperly, we may cancel the registration it was used for.

Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe emails a receipt to the address you enter there. Registrations with a $0.00 total don’t need a card.

Parking rules and enforcement

• Follow posted signs and park only in marked spaces.

• We may cancel a registration that was created by mistake or fraud, or by misusing a promo code. See our Refund Policy for when we refund payments.

Your vehicle and belongings

You park at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for theft of or damage to vehicles or their contents, except where caused by our own negligence.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The version posted when you register applies to that registration. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of [state].
